I get the same problem as you did when installing the 48X0 drivers, the drivers install but only software mode is active, no CI or QE. What is the procedure to enable hardware acceleration? doug_1986 Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 Just a note, I have a 4870x2 and only have 1gig working on it according to Sys Profiler... and by the looks of the screens above, so does everyone else. Easkay Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 Just a quick note, I read on another forum, that the 4870x2 has a special internal version of crossfire, which enables the 2nd half of the card as necessary.
