Hi! :(

i just want to know if it's possible connect my airport extreme dual band, without a wireless card, just the regular pc Ethernet cards?

This is what I did:

I connect the cable from the Motorola Surfboard Cable Modem to the WAN port in the airport extreme, then I connect one cable from the airport ethernet slot to the realtek internet card in my computer then I install all the software, update the software, but the airport utility can't find it "airport utility was unable to find any Apple wireless devices".

So this is the right way to do it?

No. Your PC MUST have wireless capabilities in order to configure an Airport or a Time Capsule. Connecting via Ethernet will most likely not work, I have heard of many people having great diffuculties doing first time setup via Ethernet, and many having no luck at all.

However, do ensure that it is powered on, the amber light is blinking, yada yada, before you waste time trying to find and configure it. Worst comes to worst, bring the AirPort to a friend's house that has a laptop or better yet, a mac, then attempt to configure everything with HIS/HER internet connection, then bring it home and hook your stuff back up to it. It should remember the settings you had then. This MAY or maynot work.

But foshiz, dude, get a wifi card. $15.
