I have a Dell Dimension e510 with vista on it. I have a WD External HD with OS X 10.5.6 and Ubuntu 8.10 dualbooted on it. Longhorn bootloader on internal hd, Chameleon bootloader on external hd, of course ;)

I added some ram (i only had 1 gb, now i have 3)

I went to sleep.

Next day when i tried to boot into os x and the the computer restarted'

Then i set ubuntu active in windows, and booted into that. The GRUB console came up, and i reinstalled GRUB. could now boot into ubuntu.

But then the WEIRDEST change occured. My ubuntu installation claimed itself to be (hd0,1)

Claimed that Mac was (hd0,0) and windows was (hd0,1)

It seems it thought it was the main Hd at that moment. So i tried adding an os x entry to grub. Then i booted off it and i got a hang at the "loading..." screen.

I wonder what the problem is? I bought macdrive and repaired disk. No errors found. Maybe if i uninstalled chameleon and reinstalled it? But how do i do that? Delete the Extras folder?
