Ethernet Problem after 10.5.6 Update

Hi folks. I recently upgraded from 10.5.4 (Kaly 10.5.2-10.5.3-10.5.4) to 10.5.6 (used a bunch of PCWIZ tools to install pc_efi_v9, dsdt, etc..., then 10.5.6 via software update). The install went well, and everything was working, but I lost my Ethernet connection after a reboot. I tried installing AppleYukon kexts, editing info.plist in IONetworkingFamily.kext using a bunch methods

 

I found in the forums but I have not been successful. I read somewhere in the forums that others also had problems with Firewire and USB. USB appears to be working for me, sometimes flash drives won't mount. Also had weird, inaccurate About this Mac info and error in System Profiler but those disappeared (not sure what I did that fixed this, but I ran OSX86 tools for CPU info).
