off_d Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Hello! I'm installing Kalyway 10.5.2 on Vmware 6.5. The installation procedure completes correctly and so does the booting and login after that. The whole operating system (with the exception of sound) is running smoothly... The problem i'm facing is that at random times (usually soon after the login) the whenever i try to input something with the keyboard, after some letters the keyboard stacks and the same letter is repeated all the time. When i try to press another key, altough it is pressed and shown, the os keeps pressing the same letter... For example, one time it stacks at "sssssssss" another time at "yyyyy" etc. The only way to stop is to click with the mouse outside the input field. But whenever i try to press again on the same or a different input field, it keeps sending the same letter. The only way to stop it is to reboot. I also think that whenever this happens the mouse is becoming less responsive as well (Or maybe this happens when i go to a menu and the keyboard is giving another signal to that menu). Anyways, the problem is with the keyboard. It works perfectly fine and all of a sudden the problem occurs. I have tried ps2 and usb connection and the same applies. Please someone help me. I've been searching and not finding a solution. Another image i have (iatkos 5i), works fine, but it's a lot slower than kalyway, therefore i want to work with kaly). Thanking you in advance..
