dripple
I'm not familiar with Mac OS development, but I'm thinking about the following: Many of us have QE enabled gfx cards in their "Hackintoshes" and get bored by this "mouse tearing". This mouse tearing only - or mostly - happens if you use your scroll wheel. If - for some cirumstances - the mouse pointer is not visible, the tearing doesn't happen (surprise! *scnr*) I installed Steer Mouse on my PC and and set up the Tilt Wheel for my Logitech mouse. Funny thing: If i tilt the wheel to left or right without something to scroll, the mouse pointer disapears. If I scroll now using the wheel, no tearing happens. In conclusion: what I'm looking for is a patch, that simply hides the mouse pointer due the scrolling. Is this possible? If yes, if someone could write this patch he would do a great benefit to the community! dripple
cyclonefr
let's wait for omni...first we see his new driver and then we get info about the tearing solution
dripple
I believe in Omni and his work. But I think it would be also a good idea to patch an existing mouse driver, even if this only a weak workaround. I'm not familar with Objective-C but I think this could be done more easily than writing a complete IOKit-driver dripple
