profiler911 Posted March 13, 2009 Share Posted March 13, 2009 hi, i use ps2 keyboard and usb mouse. after installation of iPC 10.5.6 or iDeneb v.1.4 i can't use my ps2 keyboard. i researched the problem and seems like found the solution like unloading and reloading kext for PS2 keyboard. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12990 putting lines: kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext kextload /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext i couldn't find /etc/rc in my system, so i ended up putting those lines in the end of /etc/rc.common - NO EFFECT! however when i booted into my system with usb keyboard and run those commands in terminal it worked, my ps2 keyboard was alive so i don't understand what i'm doing wrong, did i put those commands in the wrong place ?
