not at all - everything is standard, what should i do? :|

I'm not too proficient with cider, but I will help all I can.

Do you know if the game, when run on windows, starts with a splash image or some sort of window?

Start on windows with a Configuration Window.. any chance get this done? thanx for helping !!!

you have to make it start immediately into the game, cider doesnt support window operations.

theres probably a text file of some sort that governs the config window. If all else fails, you might be able do find a dll or exe that when deleted, will cease the config window from trying to open.

I need more info about this one - everyone managed to ignore windows UI like config utility window on another game? Please is the only one from Prince of Persia game wont exist for mac after the 4 is released this month..

if it fatal errors, then the problem isn't the config utiltiy... you'll worry about that if you can get the game to display NO ERROR... the game should just do nothing (cuz of the launcher you cant see) but it shouldnt fatal error !

Not an expert by any means, but is it because POP: WW does some hardware check every time it loads? Perhaps trying to setup the config utility the first time and checking some sort of box like (don't appear again) doesn't bypass the hardware scan...?

The hardware scan window is config utility {censored}.. i think this is what stops the game when is going to launch through cider ;)

Does that mean practically there is no chance of porting WW via Cider then? I wonder if there is some way to access the "start game" part of the executable directly, so as to bypass the hardware check. Sounds like an idea out of a Bond movie, but hey ;)

P.S. Just got your version of PoP: SoT on BS! It's flawless on my 2.16Ghz MBP—you rock man!

Don't mean to resurrect a dead thread, but I've almost been able to get POP:WW working!

I have successfully installed and wrapped the game in the Black Diamond CXZ Wrapper. The game loads as it should, and the extra hardware check screen and everything work just fine. The program then rifles through the intro screens. My heart was beating so fast I couldn't believe it!

However after the last "loading" video finishes, the screen just goes black where the "select name" screen should appear. No audio, nothing; but the program definitely is not hanging. I tried the regular Diamond CXZ Wrapper as well, but no luck.

I cant help but think I'm missing some sort of startup parameter (DirectX maybe?), but don't know enough myself. Would anyone be able to help? If anyone's interested, I have a private server at home where I can host my WIP; just PM me and I can send the link.

Many thanks! :(
