halojunkie222 Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Hey, i have an HP g50-104nr laptop with an Optiarc DVDrw AD-7561s that will not boot an OSX disc, and wont recognize in OSx. I used a different computer to install Kalyway 10.5.3 onto the hdd of the HP. its running the following Motherboard: Winstrom 360B Chipset: Intel GL40 CPU: Intel Pentium Dual t3200 (2.0gh Dualcore) HDD: 250gb ATA Seagate Momentus 5400 Wifi: Atheros AR5007 (not working but i havent tried the fix from the forum yet) LAN: Realtek RTL8102E (works fine) video card: Mobile intel series 4 GPU: GMA 4500MHD And im getting multiple answers when i try and find out what my audio controller is...(this is from vista that i pulled the info) Audio worked initially on the OSX setup but after it configured OSX audio cut out. and has no audio device found error. Anyway the Main problem is the Optical drive, if i can get that working i'll deal with the audio later. the wifi should be an easy fix.
