chriz74
Hello all, I have my main hd partitioned as in picture: IN C: I have Windows Vista, in D: Windows 7 and in the last partition (13,43 GB) I installed OSX iPC 10.5.6 final... well after install and reboot I got the boot loader from Vista and could not access the new OSX intallation. So I tried to add Leopard to the boot loader with bcdedit 2.0 beta both with NTS and MBR system. Nothing worked. Then I tried to enter in single user mode from cd (from an ideneb distro as this iPC distro lacks boot0 file for some reason.. I flagged the 3rd partition w/ fdisk and updated mbr.. all I get is boot0: error Before you tell me to use the chain0 method.. I already tried that with iDeneb and it didn't work. Any clue? hnzw_rui
This guide worked quite well for me with a few modifications. http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Quad_booting Quad booting XP, Vista, 7 Beta and OS X installed in that order. The "manage flags" steps in GParted are key. It prevents Vista and 7 Beta from installing their own bootloader so you can use the Darwin bootloader to load the different operating systems. I think I had to follow another guide for final repair of the bootloaders.
