I have this sound chip in Acer Aspire 1640:
Driver audio INTEL Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) High Definition Audio Controller

Which ALC i can use ??
I have install AppleAlzalia, active the card but no sound effect ...

I have a dump with the FAQ .
And Now ?  Which intelhda i can use ?? ALC XXX ??

Hello guys,

i am newbie on forum.I hope ,that i write to the rigt topic. I own old ACER EXTENSA 5200 notebook with installes iDeneb OSx Leopard 10.5.6 /i try 5times install newer iAtkosV7 10.5.7 with a lot of drivers and customization,but i cannot find the right config.Freezes on Boot/. iDeneb version succesfully installed without problems.I read here on the forum,that the biggest problem is always with audio.For me too..All hardware /lan,wifi,vga,usb..../ works great,only the audio is dead.I read about Intel 8280 high def.audio. In customize menu after installation are many Audio drivers,but without success..Can please somebody tell me the steps for Mac beginner how to install the driver for this audio?I read here something about patches and kext...
