Steve Jobs The CO-Founder of APPLE and now the CEO does he really care about apple or does he just want its money? before Steve Jobs became CEO of Apple he said this to a newsreporter "If i were in charge of Apple i would milk it for all it's got and then move on the PC wars are over"

on the other hand he adopted the new mac os x versions from his old computer company NeXT i she starting to care now that he is in control of the company?

even with all that i believe no i still think he is going to try to get the most from apple mainly becuase of all the things he did for example he realeased the new video ipoid before it was suppose to come out and also he risked the company's secure sales by moving into intel and we all know that some of us got ox86 working so if he really is going to "milk apple for all its got" then he might even sell the mac os for intel as a software before he finishes with the company

Steve has taken a $1 a year salary several times in the last 10 or so years.. one a year or so ago. Shure he has shares but if you read something like the article like you will find in the time magazine a few months ago you start to realise that someone like mr Jobs is strongly modivated to create something he wants the way he wants it and wont take no for an answer. It was very interesting to see why he succeeds and other companies dont

1 great example was the concept cars and how they never get to look anything like that in production 5 years later yet Apple products do. He wont take no for an answer. Does this make him money? well yes of course. If he wanted to be rich I mean really rich though he would have done what he is doing and taken an MS example of company and started to dump the hardware and sell the OS. He would makes 10x's what he makes now if he had or did do this. MS is a software company.. Steve likes designing cool hardware first and formost or else u could buy OSX off the shelf

Well, if you'd ROLL THE REST OF THE CLIP, you'd find the quote saying "I'd be working on the next big thing, because the OS wars are over and they won" or something like that. He moved on to the iPod, which is "The Next Big Thing."

Of course, Apple still cares about making Macintosh computers, which prompted the switch to Intel. Apple needed "faster, smaller, cooler" processors and got nothing from Motorola (who continually gets stuck speed and heat-wise with the G4) and IBM (a G5 in a laptop would most likely catch on fire at faster speeds). Intel said "We're making faster, smaller, cooler processors," while AMD said "We're still working on faster. Smaller and cooler will come later." Apple said "OK, Intel's making our chips now." The move has everything to do with Apple's design team.
