xjairusx
Hi everyone, After installing the touch screen drivers on Leopard on my MSI Wind the Darwin bootloader doesn't appear to be seeing my XP install... it just boots straight into osx... anyone know how to get my xp boot option back? Drive is partitioned as follows: Partition 1 - XP 75gb Partition 2 - Mac OSX 75gb Partition 3 - Store (the rest). Hmmm... I used to have a 5 second wait where I could press a key if I wanted to boot to XP but this no longer shows. Any help would be much appreciated! Driving me mad, wanted to see how the screen works in windows compared to Mac OSX .
xjairusx
After all... it was so simple. I thought this may work but didn't think the file had been edited! Browse to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist and open it up in your text editor. Added following line: <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> HINT: If you are having difficulty saving changes to com.apple.Boot.plist; Open Terminal and type: sudo nano /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist Use the arrow keys to move the cursor. Ctrl+O to save (and then press Enter to save) and Ctrl+X to close.
