I have been looking at my Diamond 4870 sitting in the box on the floor for the last few weeks. I think it's time for the 7800 GT to retire ;-) Will your .pkg file (thank you) work for the Diamond version of the card ? Do I need to modify the device ID, etc ? Thanks again. You should mention that there are still serious issues remaining: 1. Dual displays DO NOT work. When I power up the second display - I get a kernel panic and have to shut down my system completely. 2. There are mouse problems - I wasn't able to get bluetooth mouse and keyboard working properly without jitter - no matter what I tried. 3. 4850 bios makes my 4870 unusable - so resolution change doesn't work for me. It's definitely not ready for prime time. I am sure issues will be resolved - but dual displays may not be so easy to implement as Netkas pointed out.
