harryj Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Just installed the XXX distro on my acer aspire one. So far runs very well. Waiting for the 1390 wifi card. Some observations/questions: When the sound drivers loan, notice an annoying hiss from the speakers. Turning the volume down doesn't really seem to help. Following the instructions in the guide (Blue-K) still cannot get hibernate or sleep to work? So basically stuck with either ON or OFF.. nothing in between! Anyone get a working hibernate or sleep function? Lastly -- noticed on real macbooks, the screen dims automatically after 10 seconds of inactivity when on battery.
