This might be useful for people with slow boot times from their dvd drives, or for people that don't have a dvd drive in the machine they are looking to install OSX. I guess also for people that find themselves reinstalling OSX frequently

Requirements:

* Flash Drive 4GB or larger

* any of the install DVD's or ISO's (iATKOS/ideneb etc.)

* OSX86 Tools 1.0 build 150

* Chameleon 1.0.11 installer

* Access to a functioning Mac

Format the Flash Drive

-------------------------------------------

* Start Mac Disk Utility

* Plug in and select the USB drive

* Click the "Partition" tab

* Select "1 partition" and name the drive (eg. iDeneb)

* Select the format is "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)"

* Click the "Options" button under the partition map picture. Select MBR (Master Boot Record) and click "OK"

* Click "Apply"

Restore the OS files to the Flash Drive

------------------------------------------

* Mount the distribution ISO image (or use the DVD if you have a drive)

* Click the "Restore" tab

* Drag the program image in the DVD/ISO drive to the "Source" field (NOT the disk image itself)

* Drag the Flash Drive partition you created to the "Destination" field

* Click "Restore"
* Wait around 20 minutes and it will be done.

* Quit Disk Manager

Making the Flash Drive bootable

------------------------------------

* Start OSX86 Tools

* Click on the "Install EFI/Run FDISK" button

* In the pop-up window in "Disk to use" select your Flash Drive

* For "EFI to install" select "No EFI (Darwin bootloader)"

* Click the "Install EFI" button and you should get a success message

* Quit OSX86 Tools

THEN

* Start Chameleon 1.0.11

* When it comes time to choose where to install Chameleon, choose your Flash Drive

* Continue clicking through the program and Chameleon will install on the Flash Drive

* When you browse the Flash Drive there's now a file called BOOT (black screen icon with an "exe")

* Eject the Flash Drive from your Mac

Worked flawlessly for me. if you need to run flags at startup, start pressing a button as soon as it starts booting, because it doesn't give you the normal countdown.

NOTE - obviously your BIOS must support booting from USB
