My question is what to do and where to start. I have looked through the topics but it all confuses me. First, I want to install this on a 4th partition I created(1 for vista, windows 7,xp, and hopefully mac os).Second I used cpuid and i believe I am compatable with mac os. I have a dell xps 420, 4 GB, main os is vista, core 2 quad 2.66 ghz non over clocked,DX 10, and nvidia geforce 9800 gt with a 30 GB partition to install mac on.

What should I do next, and how should I configure the settings so everything works fine for mac.Im also using wireless internet.

If anyone can help, that would be awesome, thanks!

I have the same system and mac works like a charm on my xps 420. You wont be able to install mac on 4th partition because that is logical partition and mac requires primary partition. I guess you could get rid of windows 7 beta partition if its primary and install it on logical partition and it'll work just fine, I tested it already. If you run into any trouble regarding mac booting up, etc. shoot me a message and I'll send you instructions that I wrote for myself. Good luck.

P.S. For partition creating, deleting, etc go to Right click on My computer and click "Manage" the go to "Disk Management" under "Storage" and thats the best way of creating partitions and deleting them. It also tells you if partition is logical or primary. I recommend that you delete windows 7 partition and it'll appear as unallocated space. Do a quick format and compression and it'll be ready for mac (best way of doing it!).
