Hi

I have an 8800GT 512MB, working perfectly with EFI v9 on a vanilla 10.5.6. It's running 2 x 22" widescreen monitors. I might soon be getting a 19" widescreen and 15" standard, which, for what I'll be paying, is definitely worth it. I'd like to be able to use all screens, my 22"s being my main 2 on my desk, the other 2 serving monitoring and notification purposes somewhere above. Here's my problem:

I have a Dell XPS 420. There is only 1 PCI-E x16 slot. So I can't go get another 8800GT ;)

I have a spare PCI-E x1 slot and a PCI-E x8 (x4 electrical) slot.

And here are my questions:

Is there a Quatro card I can replace my 8800GT with, without losing performance?

Or is there another card that can go in a spare slot, adding the extra 2 (4 if possible) monitors? And will this bring down perfomance overall or only on the screens it uses (so my 8800GT will play games as it does now)?

Thanks for any advice you can give, except the 'go buy a mac' line. I hate that. I'm a student. As if I have the money. Thanks!
