There is a amazing tool named ISOEmu. It can be boot bootable ISO image from harddisk easily.

Download it here: http://sysoft.zdwx.com/isoemu/bin/

Known Limitation

=================

* Support FAT32/NTFS partition only;

* Works on x86's RealMode only(so this app cannot be used to boot Windows PE,

OR, WinNT based OS), `cause it hooks INT13h;

* Support 8.3 file format only;

A) As a menu item of NTLDR

1). Extract ieldr to your c:\, and modify your boot.ini,add the

following line:

c:\ieldr="Load IsoEmu SDV 3rd"

2). Extract isoemu.ini and the iso file what you want to Emulate,

to the root directory of a FAT32 partition;

-AND- change a line of isoemu.ini:

"isoemu isogrub.iso" (modify `isogrub.iso` to your iso file)

=============================================================

If you use ISOEmu boot early leopard installation ISO image , you will only get "System config file 'com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" then nothing happend.

I tested XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final.iso and iPC_OSx86_10_5_6_Universal_PPF5_Final.iso , It can show Darwin Bootloader , but all stuck at Still waitting for root device.

I don't known whether both ISOs NOT Compatible with my Mainboard.

I believe Chameleon-1.0.11 made ISOEmu load newly leopard installation ISO image go farther(NOT only show System config file 'com.apple.Boot.plist' not found).

This article(http://chameleon.osx86.hu/articles/chameleon-1011-with-jmicron-ide-dvd-sse2-amd-k10-phenom-support) mentioned some INT13h stuff , maybe it just suit with ISOEmu.

I have been use Format & Make Bootable HD for Leopard.iso do some digg:

When use ISOEmu load orginal Format & Make Bootable HD for Leopard.iso , it is only get "System config file 'com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" .

But when I rebuild Format & Make Bootable HD for Leopard.iso with Chameleon-1.0.11 cdboot, then use ISOEmu load it , it's show Darwin Bootloader, but stuck at Kernel Panic.

NOTE: The ISO image on Harddisk better be continuous. So do Defrag if it is NOT.
