AgentN Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Please see attached picture... ...Everytime I try to install an ATi graphics card I get this weird image issue. I've tried with both an ATi 3650 and 2400xt and have the same exact problem with fresh installs of both iDeneb 10.5.5 and Kallyway 10.5.2. I am able to boot into VESA mode. I've tried the instructions on this sticky... http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=94090 ...with no luck. I've also tried installing the drivers on this thread... http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107526 ...again no luck. The same thing happens. On the flip side, I'm able to install an nVidia 6600 without any issues whatsoever. I'd much prefer using one of my ATi cards though as they're both quite a bit more powerful. If anyone can help at all it'd be greatly appreciated! TIA. Here are the full system specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ (2x2.4Ghz) DFI LAN Party Ultra-D (nForce 4 Ultra) 3GB DDR400 Dual Channel RAM 320GB Seagate SATA Hard Drive SBLive! 5.1 Soundcard Video Card: Choice of ATi 3650, ATi 2400xt (Preferred) or nVidia 6600.
