Sanjamal
I am currently trying to get Mac OS 10.5.6 installed on a new system. Everything works great except for the video which is giving me kernel panics with every driver installation that I try. I'm using the iPC 10.5.6 installation DVD. I have spent a large amount of time reading on the internet about getting this working, but I haven't been able to make headway. Hopefully the wizards here can show me the ways of the OSX86 guru. I have tried using the included Natit driver, the ATi 3600 series driver, and the seperate 3650 driver from Netkas. Issues are either a scrambled screen or almost immediate kernal panic. I would like to use the 3650 Netkas driver installation package if possible, but if there's a better way to get this working I would welcome it with open arms. I love learing new things like this, so the more input the better! The closest I've come to seeing it working is being in safe mode (because of panics) and system profiler telling me that I have a 3650 with 256 MB of RAM and no QE/CI support. Here's my system: AMD Athlon X2 6000 Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2HP 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 RAM (800 MHz) Sapphire HD 3650 512 MB DDR2 Obligatory SATA HDD and DVD burner Thanks everyone! MacSharky
I got this resolved on my ASUS 3650 PCIe 512mb fanless: 1. step, remove all existing graphics drivers. Follow instructions below: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=82408 2. Install this driver: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1082352 3. Connect your LCD to the secondary out of your card. If you use the primary, the screen will remain black or checkpatterned after booting. Somehow the driver mixes up primary and secondary. Works great so far (CI and QE working). Remaining issues: (1) No sleeping of screen (after screensaver). Screen freezes but does not turn off. (2) Can't get it to display anything via DVI-HDMI-connector on my LCD TV. It recognizes the TV correctly (Sony and resolution), but the screen remains black. Please pm me if you manage to resolve one of these remaining issues. Hope this helps. Dave

Then install this: ATI x2000 source version 53410 plus natit for HD3650.pkg Worked perfect for me, 3650 256Mb ATI //K
