EGC
Right, i know i was stupid, but please don't laugh and give me some advice. I've got a 250G USB External Hard Disc and it was for my PC and had 7 or 8 FAT 32 Partitions on it. Yesterday i tried to empty one of this partition, and then, tried to re-format it as HFS+ (Mac OS X format). after a while it shows "parition failed" and the entire disc became a blank one!! no partitions on it at all, no file...!! i then reconnected the disc to my PC, no luck... won't mount and under "computer management"'s disk section, it shows a blank hard drive... i've loaded Partition Magic and it shows the entire hard drive as "BAD"... so i think i've destoried my parition map table, and want to recovery it.. i've been googling for a whole night but most utilities such as DiskMan / Disk Genius only work on DOS and has issues with FAT 32 format... would somenone plesase give me some advice on how to rebuild the partition table please? i was once consider to send it out for repair , and get a quote of £450 ($800)!!!.... i dun want to be ripped off so i want to do this on my own... thanks

vilysanty
Hi, You can use a partion recovery software to have a try. If it can not work well, you can use this one try again.
