Disco Fever Posted April 16, 2006 Share Posted April 16, 2006 Since beta3 now includes sound support, i'd like to share my experiences. Latest build i've got (1658.42) running on macmini core is stable but .. sound craps around when you 'open a file' or do big disk operations such as moving or copying from folder to folder. Plus, when I play a sound in Windows Media Player, CPU goes 20-30%. I haven't tested big apps like logic or ableton, but I don't think they will be fast enough to be used 'yet'. At least there's sound, hope that it will get faster in the next releases. What about your experiences ? Has anyone tried to install an app, which results ?
