Greywulf99
I've had that problem with at least three other distros of Leopard, iatkos and Leo4All are the ones I can remember... I also just got done trying the iPC distro which gave the same error. it just seems my PC is not meant to run Leopard unfortunately.

We have nearly the same setup...only difference is our power sources. I get the same errors regardless of bios twiddling. If anyone has an idea please email me. KahKah!
the error "unable to convert memory map into proper format". Try to swith "ACPI version" parameter in BIOS Power-setting page from "3(optimal default)" to "2 or 1" then the problem will gone. (G31-M7G has that parameter, I hope your board has one.) I am still stucking with other problem described in this thread. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1117942
emohelsing
hey guys, got around that problem - don't touch the ACPI. the solution is to change these settings in BIOS: 1.Disable EHCI (set it to disabled, it's right down under USB Legacy support)2.Disable Speedstep its under CPU settings.
