And I have priced out a modest system for just under $1000.00 My wife already said she wouldn't have a problem with spending some of the return on a new system if I can think of a way to make money using the new computer. (unless you are actually gonna try make money with it) There are many things you could do with a computer, too many to list. It depends on your aptitudes. I don't know what to recommend! Also there's no quick fix, you have to work hard and suffer for $$$. Eg. you could be a programmer, but it takes a long time!
