hernando57 Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 I've gotten OSx86 (iPC 10.5.6 to be exact) to work on a handful of Intel desktop PCs, but have run into a problem trying to get it running on an AMD Laptop. After the install, during booting, it keeps locking up after: "AirPort_BRCM43xx; Ethernet address is 00:1a:73:7e:fc:73" I tried doing a reinstall without selecting any wireless card kexts, but got the same result. I saw this thread on the forum: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=51725 but that seems to deal with getting the Broadcom 43xx driver working AFTER booting into OSx86, but I cant even get that far in, so I dont think it helps me.
