GolfBravo Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 I've been having problems with my Gigabyte 8600GT for quite some time: occasionally the screen goes blank for a second or two. It wasn't so much of a problem with my old Samsung monitor, but now I have a Dell 2709W and every time that it happens I have to either reset the monitor input or just turn it off and on (otherwise the screen picture is scrambled, like unplugging antenna on a analogue TV). Has anyone else experienced this problem? What could be causing it? A faulty GPU or rather a driver issue? BTW, I'm using a Kalyway 10.5.2 (updated to 10.5.6), DVI output, hardware acceleration works 100%. Cheers, GB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
