I have a hp dv1520 and I didn't have a battery meter at all, in fact my sys profile didn't even show a battery installed. After I used this I now have a battery in sys profile and I can get the meter and percentages, but it just says calculating when I switch it to time.....In all honesty thats still a step up from not having it all...so thank you very much

Great work!

haven't tested dvd play but i used vlc anyways!

Thanks alot for all the hard wordwor keithpk. It works great on my Dell D800. I was wondering though have you given any thought to adding in low battery error messages?

Pretty sure I copied the PowerManagment.bundle over again after upgrading to 10.4.7, but the battery monitor isn't back, so I don't know if the driver needs updating or not.

*EDIT*

I re-downloaded the .bundle and applied it and the battery meter works now and so does the remaining power calculation.

After updating to 10.4.7 (JaS) I lost the battery icon. I copied again the bundle, I got back the icon, but it won't show battery level anymore. It would detect when battery/AC but that is about all it does. "Calculating..." takes forever. Battery Juice or other widgets also don't work...

Would this driver solve not being able to properly enter and leave sleep (stand by) on desktops? Thanks!

Hello,

When I install this, and restart the computer nothing loads up. I remember at one point it did work, but now it doesn't at all... I'll look through this post..

THanks

This doesn't work on my Acer, though it may be because I'm using 10.4.7 as someone else seemed to have the issue using it as well.

Perhaps a patched version is needed?

Does not work with my Acer TravelMate 4002. Installing the bundle and restarting does not change anything at all.

Any way to hack hibernate into working? This is the one feature that I am sorely, and the only reason I don't use OSX all the time. Anyone making any headway there? This power management bundle works great with my poorly-built Dell D505. It faithfully shows batt percentage and time remaining, but not being able to use sleep (or more importantly hibernate) is really holding back my system.

This works great on my Acer TM2414WLMI with OS X 10.4.7 from the latest JaS 10.4.7 Disk. Thanks :)

The weird thing is that, sleep sort of works now. When I close the screen down it goes to sleep and wakes up perfectly but the next time I do it the display stays black but the hard drive appears to be doing something?
