zipper11
Ok Did my research and I hope I got this right. Here is my list of parts I am going to order from NewEgg. I know the case and power supply are less important but I would like thoughts on everything before I drop 700-800 on this build Pricing is CDN 20$ ASUS DVD/CD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16827135181 27$ Cool Master CPU cooler http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?...N82E16835103041 52$ G Skill 4gb ram(2x2gb) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?...N82E16820231226 88 Raidmax ATX Mid Tower Case http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?...N82E16811156062 110$ Seagate 7200rpm 1TB SATA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822148373 110$ ASUS p5k delux lga775 Intel P35 Mother board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...82E16813131182R 130 EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512mb PCIE Video http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130380 230 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?...N82E16819115017 OK Please please... I did my checks on the compatibility list and fit this together. Please verify I have gotten this right. This should be a killer box. If this box works I will be looking for a MB which can handle dual processors and will attempt a 8 core box. I am open to any and all suggestions on this build, positive or negative. Id rather get it right the first time. Thanks in advance. Chris OH This will be a OSx86 box primarily. I dont have the cash for a 8 core from Apple, pricing in at 3100 before shipping and tax.
