dimburgia Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 Hello, I just recently posted here about wireless connectivity for my new G4 here (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=144513) and was suggested the Asus WL-138G V2. I read a few user reviews and was convinced. But after getting it in the mail last week, I was sad to find out that my mac isn't even recognizing it! I think the problem may be either a)there's some sort of software im missing on my mac, or b)the card they sent happened to be a dud (does cold affect it much? it was in single digit temperatures when the ups guy came, and the box was cold too...) I've tried it in all of my ports, which i know are functional (as it DOES recognize my skyline card i used for my old G3). But I'm out of ideas. Am i missing something with how it's supposed to hook up? Or it is possible it's a dud and I should return it? please help! thanks for reading!
