chuckcalo Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 I;ve been using ethernet cable for internet last couple of days and I had a USB wifi working great. I tried it today and it did find the networks and I connected to them but I couldn't make it work. I tried the USB on windows and also the wireless and they did work. The USB used to work before but I don't know why it's not working anymore. I tried deleting the files refering to Network Preferences from /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration hoping the OSx would recognize the Ethernet and the WiFi Ethernet once again and it did, I set my IPs again but I can only get the Ethernet to work. I thought this was because of a GMA950 patch I installed for dual screen but I installed the one I had way back and that still didn't resolve my problem. It also happens when the AR5007 gets to work (which is pretty rare) and it finds the wireless, I try to connect to them with success but pages just won't load and my IPs are well set since it worked before.
