ProjectEnder
about a month ago i had my MacBook Pro 17" Died. I was having video lock-up problems before this happened and the mac techs told me it was the Video Card and would be $1200 to replace. Now i never use the MacBook as a laptop that much or to its full power when i did, so i have a Desktop where the MacBook once sat, twice the power and half the cost of the fix, good deal. Only problem iam on an old ugly CRT. Looking at the Cables coming off the LCD of the MacBook And Counting the DVI pins. they both seem to have the same amount. only thing i dont know what one is pin 1, or the order. the other problem are the other 5 cables on the other side 2red 2white 1goldish. they have to be the power/led controls. I think this sounds crazy, but any input would be good.
U.C.
I would recommend, you part out the Macbook Pro. The LCD will easily sell for $200-$250 on eBay.
