Still no joy with ATI Mobility RadeonHD 3650

I have a Dell Studio 1735 laptop running iAtkos 5 10.5.5 just about fine .... but no joy with the display - its recognizing the ATI Mobility RadeonHD 3650 PCIe card as a 16MB ATI generic something or other. After failing (black and white blocky pixels at boot) with the ATI driver and EFI strings on the install CD, I then tried numerous posts and research at the wiki but nothing is setting this card up right yet :( Can anyone help? Here is what hackintosh says:

Display:

Type: Display

Bus: PCIe

PCIe Lane Width: x16

VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x9591

Revision ID: 0x0000

Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1024 x 768

Depth: 32-bit Color

Core Image: Software

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

I notice that the hardware is identified correctly but the display and software aren't right. At boot up time, it says something about being a 16MB ATI card

(PS - do the mobility PCIe cards run the same drivers as the equivalent desktop cards?)

As an aside, I also can't get the keyboard and trackpad to work. They worked fine during installation, but after install, neither is recognized. So I temporarily have to use a USB keyboard and mouse and that works fine ... but I'd really like to ditch them and use the OEM laptop keyboard and trackball.

I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me a on this,

Thanks guys.

This is an awesome project and the website (technical details and support) is just astounding!

As you guy know.. you can get the resolution 1440 x 1200 or something like that.. by going to the boot.list.. and edit the boot menu to enable graphic to a higher resolution.

But still, that doesn't resolve the driver issue with ATI mobility device id 9591.. ANYBODY>> !!!!!!!!!! HELPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys,

I have tried this driver, but no result.

I have installed and after I have repaired permission with the disk utility reboot but the system is blocked.

I have attached some picture to see the result and to help the developers.

Hello, try this driver.
