homers
Hi I have a Sony Vaio laptop. Are there any drivers available for the Radeon 3470 graphics card? Thanks
realityiswhere
ATI Radeon HD Mobility doesn't work properly yet on the internal LCD. Short answer: no.
homers
So would OS X not display at all on my laptop?
realityiswhere
It would not work with hardware acceleration at all, and most likely not resolution changing, meaning you'd be stuck at 1024x768. Some people with ATI Radeon HD Mobility cards have gotten them to work on an external vga monitor, but that defeats the point of a laptop. No mobile radeon hd cards work on the internal monitor properly yet, the desktop only packages are here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=107526
Mordeth
So would OS X not display at all on my laptop? I have a 3470 Mobility Card. You'll be stuck at 1024x768. It's usable but I hope Mobility Packages come out sometime soon
