Alessandro17
As you already know, I don't use Ubuntu. However my favourite BitTorrent client is BitTornado. I find it flexible and it has the features I need. Available for all my fav distros, I suppose it should be available for Ubuntu too.

Aurora
Agreed. Transmission is hands down my favorite non-Windows torrent software. I have mine set up to monitor a CIFS-shared directory for .torrent files and queue new ones up new ones whenever I drop them in.
InorganicMatter
I prefer Transmission on any UNIX-based system.

oldtopman
Do you suppose you could turn this into a poll perhaps? My vote is on transmission.
Alessandro17
uTorrent is probably the fastest client of any OS. While we wait for a Linux client, uTorrent.exe works fine under Wine.
aylamrin
Transmission is very good on Mac, although I have not tried it on Linux. I think Ktorrent is reasonably OK as well.
