pateras
hi ole2 , because i'm trying everything that i find i have formated my disk more than 60 times!!!! the update(s) from the net worked fine all 60 times, just follow my instructions! dont forget that after the update DO NOT use the backedup kexts but ONLY PLACE THE ONES GIVEN here WITH THIS ORDER: sleep-battery-ethernet,audio NOTHING else!!!otherwise it blows up everything!!! you are write about the sleep , the better thing that i found was the sleepwatcher. there is no need of this "fixing keyboard PS2 driver" after the update online you will see that keyboard and mouse do not work, install only these kexts : sleep-battery-ethernet,audio and reboot, you will see everything working!!! for the sound you can buy a USB SOUND CARD that costs 3-4 $ or the trust usb headphones for mac or usb speakers, all work!no drivers needed! 3G modem for this i cant say because i have an external from voda and works the camera brightness level is adjustable for the fan try updating BIOS from hp or try the heat adjuster that is in the internet..... alltoorobot
sound is fixed voodoo dun it check myhpmini.com and VoodooPS2Controller-0.98-installer.pkg gets scrolling. yes. Voodoo rocks. any updates here? cant get my 10.5.6 hp mini1000 to sleep. that is all that doesnt work. it hangs and fan still runs. EDIT: Fixed it with a fresh install following http://myhpmini.com/forum/post7352.html?hi...eep%20fix#p7352 http://myhpmini.com/forum/how-to-install-o...lit=sleep%20fix http://myhpmini.com/forum/help-ideneb-v1-4...t683.html#p5473 you have to read around these cause they are connected to each other in complicated ways but it does have me at 10.5.6 with everything working besides internal mic I also added smbios MP from ideneb 10.5.5 I took it right out of the installer, copy and pasted the package over my final results from the above thread which gave me a quicker boot time as suggested in the first post of this very thread. use slim battery instead of apples battery monitor to get away from battery warning, search around for Slim Battery(its free). In order to remove apples battery monitor hold alt and click and hold on the battery at top drag and drop it away and it will poof away like the dock items. PM with any additional apps that would be good for this mini. Im right now looking for something to auto unmount usb drives before sleep.
