I am wondering about the easiest and cheapest way to make the upgrade on a mac 1.25ghz g4.......again, its from 10.3.9 (non intel) to 10.5

any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it an iMac, eMac or Power Mac? How much RAM do you have? How much hard disk space do you have? What video card do you have?

hey thanks for the quick response

its is an imac 1.5 ghz powerpc g4

256 mb ddr ram (im guessing i might have to add more)

about 30 gb free...

I think my videocard is geforce fx5200(not sure if thats right info)

more specifically....I am using a legit tiger 2disk to try to install....When I restart...I get" the kernel panic error (Unable to find driver for this platform: Platform)"

Upgrade your RAM to at least 1GB. You can install any retail Leopard DVD which will work. Discs that came with machines won't work.
