Also, as a request to the author of rEFIt: maybe this is what you need to improve your tool so that it boots directly into Windows after selecting the Windows logo (without having to press DOWN and ENTER again). That would make it perfect... I already posted a patch on the onmac.net forums that adds the command-line parameters already passed to xom.efi by rEFIt 0.4...
