shamguy4 Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 ok so im new to mac and I tried using gimp I like that program and was hoping I could use it on mac but it seems it uses x11 which seems to work horibly... the sometimes I have to click a thousand times on a tool in the toolbox to get it to work... and then when I paint with the paintbrush it lags and takes a few seconds to catch up with me and draw... perhaps this is because I dont know what im doing... but if gimp doesnt work... well that just sucks... also it messes up other programs... i closed my internet and when I tried opening safari again it claimed it was open (in the toolbar it said safari) but no window appeared what can I do? is anyone making a version that perhaps doesnt need x11 or maybe theres a way to fix this?
