Andy Vandijck
Does it work with Intel Atom CPUs?I'd like to install Tiger on my mini-ITX Atom board... Adam It should... any Intel CPU should work for sure... But this kernel is old and weak in comparaison with the Leopard one though... It's mostly based on ToH.. adamsalac
Thanks Andy, but I'm a die-hard Tiger fan...that's why I'm still running Tiger (parallel to Leopard) on my XPS M1530 (see signature). Adam
bgrau
I got mine to work using this advice on this link: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...7760&st=20# pasted here: Yes, it kills your OSX, you need to backup /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework from working System and put it back with all Updates installed. but the new security 2009 patch gives a kernel panic both for ToH no-efi and Andy kernel and I had to revert to the original update 10.4.11-
grassmudhorse
Hi, Andy, I am really looking forward to your kernel since I want speedstep without sound synce problem. I think the voodoo kernel got that solved but it's only for Leopard. But in Leopard there no solution for QE and CI with X300. So you will be my only hope!! Can you tell me when are you going to release the kernel based on Voodoo? Thanks!
adamsalac
Dear Andy, come on,please, make a nice update for this kernel. There are still many hackintoshers on Tiger and a last final update for this kernel to make it a bit better would be amazing. We love Tiger (at least I do,maybe I'm the only one....:DDDD) You like experiments,so it would be nice to see Tiger running on an i7... :DDDD No,anyway,it's really worth it.
