Ati x1550 Can somebody tell me if or if its not supported by kalyway 10.5.2?

If its supported can somebody tell me how to fix the mousetearing problem and how to get wide screen resolutions?

I ve read that it has the same chip with x1300. So does all the info about x1300 applies to x1550 ?

I install kalyway 10.5.2 with choosing anything on customization

ci and qe available but no resolutions and mousetearing

I got an x1550 AGP @ 256mb and i still havent got it to work, but im sure that if mines was PCIe it would have worked because all the kexts i'v found i see they start searching in the PCIe Ports for the ati x1550. So if your video is PCIe im guessing that this kext from Natit would be able to pick up your card, if it doesnt; then keep checking out other kexts from Natit.

Im "assuming" that your card is PCIe. If not then i guess we're stuck on the same boat.

Use this: http://cheetha.net/ to install the kext, belive me; it'll save you some frustration.

And dont forget to verify that your Hardware ID is included on the Info.plist file so you dont have to restart twice, i dont think that would be an issue for the moment for the NatitAuto kext but keep it in mind for the other kexts.

Good Luck....

I wanted to let you know, in case somebody have a problem..

Natit kext posted by TheCondor2012 works on my x1550 PCI 512mb.

I've been on mac just a couple week now, barely have idea how to get these things work on my pc (i just recently bought mbp and decide to test it on my pc).

got ideneb first, in failed attemp i switch to kalyway and after 3 installation i did the last one without customizing system (only add all apps in programs package).

updating using kext provided here, reboot and i have my 1280x1024 resolution back.

my profile still read as x1300 though, with CI/QE supported with dev id 7146 (previously installation mention it as 7142).

My system:

MB Asus P5KR

ATI Radeon x1550 512MB

4GB RAM

160 GB Seagate (1st Mac Journaled, 2nd NTFS for data)

Kalyway 10.5.2

I have 1 PCI network card and onboard sound, they all are working flawlessly.
