gitboxgreg Posted November 28, 2008 Share Posted November 28, 2008 I am going to buy a graphics card tomorrow because the on board geforce 6100 graphics do not support a resolution above 1024x768, QE, or CI! I was wondering which of these two graphics cards, the XFX geforce 7200gs or MSI geforce 8400gs, is easier to set up (preferably work out of the box with something like nvinject) and which one supports at least 1440x900 resolution and QE/CI? ismaelgualdi3 Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 I´m using a XFX 7200 GS 256 mb with leopard 10.5.4 using nvistaller and works great, with CI and QE both enabled. What i cant do is upgrade to 10.5.5, i tried with nvisntaller, natit and efi string, but none works. If you know how to use this card with 10.5.5, send a PM.
