How do I uninstall videocard installed using EFIStudio

I used to have a GA 8800gt but the fan was driving me nuts so I bougt a new 7300 gs from Honkong. I installed the 8800ggt using EFIStudio. The new 7300gs seems to work ok as a "8800 gt". I´m not sure but I´m guessing it would be best to run it using a 7300 nvinject kext instead, there´s no 7300gs in the EFIStudio Devicelist. What´s best to do and how do I do it, can somebody please please help me out here. Thanks

go to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

 

there you will find com.apple.boot.plist

 

open it with texteditor.go to <key>device-properties</key> delete everything between <string>and<string> . copy it back to the original destination and replace it - that´s it

 

if you need a plist for the 7300GS I could send it to you

Thanks Peach-os good info you provide here. I thought it would be something like what you say here but I thought I should check with you guys first before, did´nt want to take any chances that might have messsed things up .

 

This is the 7300gs 512mb version, does the plist you have work with this version?

 

I have a NVinject.kext for the 7300gs that I edited to get the right order for the dvi and the vga port that works with my 7300gs 256mb (sitting in my other hac) but if you could send me plists for these two versions I´d be very greatfull.

I´ve realized that you will find the plists in the EFIstudio version you already downloaded inside the package from the DAW topic

Well that Plist did´nt work either I lost my QE, QGL and the ports priority turned out first is VGA and second DVI. The kext I already had worked better I´m afraid . So if anybody has a 7300gs just search here cause I have a thread where I attached a modified kext working with QE and QGL (using OSX86Tools for QGL) and priority DVI first and second VGA.
