jinX1
Hi Folks, i ve already posted this in the germanspeaking forum, but maybe there is someone out there in the english-speaking community who can give me a hint what to do: Well my PC Dell Latitude D410@1,86 Ghz Intel P4 M 1,5 GB DDR2 333 Ram Intel GM(A) 910/15 Chipset Intel GMA onboard Videocard 120 GB HDD WLAN Dell 1370 Wireless AC97 Sigmatel Soundcard System: Ubuntu 8.10 My idea was to test OS X 10.5.1 Kalyway before buying a Mac next year. But after an installation which worked fine i am stuck in booting the baby. While booting the system crashes all the time and restarts. Would be happy about any idea/hint etc...because i am looking for a solution for one week now without any progress... cu JinX1

Gujal
The modified driver would have had AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext. You need to install it so that it works without second display.

NasT
Hi, I'm installing leopard on a Dell 410, I tried what you said, but the ideneb won't even boot, I get the following error when booting: AppleBCL5751Ethernet: 1 1659 setPowerLevels - returning early, have a 5721. onoff=, fPciDeviceId= and then it stops booting, this is already after 10seconds or so. OK: some googling and I disabled the network in the bios, now it seems to boot. But I will be able to enable the network again in the bios? Grtz UPDATE 2: Leopard Installed, but now it gets stuck booting up: IOPCCardBridge Start Failed Who can help me out?
