fittipaldi Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 Hi all, I have a Lenovo T61 with a GMA965 / X3100 card. Well, all of you use the new 10.5.5 drivers for this card and it all works fine, so I decided installing iDeneb 1.3. After installation, just before the intro movie starts, the screen goes black, but not totally - the backlight is fully on, and I can see the cursor. I can even move it, but an "instance" of it stays at the top left corner - so I have to mouse cursors - one moving normally and another staying only at the top left corner. And of course I cannot continue ... Then I decided to go back to iAtkos 10.5.4, where everything works fine, only the brightness is always to the max, which drains my battery in about an hour! So I decided to copy the GMAX3100 drivers from 10.5.5. Installed them and rebooted - the same situation - black screen with backlight on and two cursors. In the mean time I here that Skype is loading (you know that skype start-up sound). So the computer is working ... Someone has an idea? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Geniusdog Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 Same issue, I've read about fixes but I can't remember where and how to do them. Do you have revision 0x0003 or 0x000c. I have 0x000c, and I used to have a kext that gave me full QE/CI but it gave me a lined screen error so I tried these and got this problem. Stupid me lost the kexts though so now I'm back to without QE/CI but at least I have native res. If someone figures this out PLEASE post. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
