vishal kumar Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 hi every one i have a problem in installation,i want to install window vista ultimate,along with mac leopard ,ubuntu 8,freebsd 7,backtrack2,but i got problem in partion shceme,ii can make 3 primary partion along with extended one,can i install mac in extended,or i have to put it in primary?i am confuse about this,can u help me? i dont want to use any third party software like partion manger or commder 9 like, i want to do it manually Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Riddimz Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 osx and vista should be in primary partitions, the others will sit in extended partitions happily but if any of the linux variations install anything like suse does (i.e create 3 extended partitions) then only 1 of them is possible as I believe you can only have 4 extended partitions (dont quote me) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
