OS X must have installed over the MBR, where booting information is held. It overwrote a booting program called GRUB. Fear not, you can reinstall GRUB. :D

Reinstall GRUB, using the tutorial found here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224351. Add Mac OS X to the file /boot/grub/menu.lst where you see boot items. Add it just before "### BEGIN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST" if you want it to appear on the top of the boot list, or add it right after "### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST" if you want it to appear at the bottom of the list.

Add this line to GRUB:

title Mac OS X
root (hd0,2)
chainloader +1

and select "Mac OS X" when you boot up GRUB. I hope this works... *crosses fingers*.
