Ditto on the sleep image garbage...

CPUintel is loading with my dsdt.aml, but when I go to deep sleep, everything powers down as before, but will not fast wake to desktop when power is cut (Deep sleep)...

Added kexts
AppleHDA.kext
openhaltrestart1.0.3.kext
applesmbiosefi.kext

I'm having a small problem but don't know if it's a real problem...
During boot Darwin says I have a 14mb VESA3.0 video card (NVIDIA) (it's a 256mb geforce 8400gs)
I had this problem since my 7300gs died last month and now my new 8400 is detected that way.
Using OSX is possible but it's really slow after a while (my old 7300 felt much much much faster), I'm using EFI string and in system profile it says the correct amount of video ram.

Any tip would be really appreciated.....

I would try this out, except I'm not sure it it includes support for HFSX, like the pre-release Chameleon boot1h that you can find here: http://forum.insanel...&...st&p=934613

Can someone confirm that PCEFI v9 supports HFSX?

Major new feature of V9: with your chameleon version (today version) you cant use Snow Leopard!!!
Today you will not need that, but 1Q/2Q 2009 you need an new chameleon or this V9 to let it Snowing on your PC!

It is a longshot but that's the only thing that changed in my system since I switched my video cars and it's very slow now, compared to the 7300 and it shouldn't be.
Thanks kramer2k for the answer.

EFIV9 built on chameleon code. hopefully its src relased soon. never know where next great developer will come from and what bit of code sends them to the top.

PC-EFI9 breaks sleep for me. It does go to sleep, but when I wake the PC up I get a purple screen. After going back to Chameleon it's working fine again.

This is the first time I've ever had sleep mode working for me, hooray!
I'm running an intel 6700 core2quad and I'm on an evga 680i nvidia mobo.

Since this is the first time I've had sleep, maybe this is an obvious question, but...

it doesn't wake up from sleep using a keyboard, I have to use the power button (not a big deal, but...)

is there anyway to change the setting to allow it to wake up from just hitting a keyboard key?

I applied the dsdt patch. said I got 512 optimizations. I renamed it from dsdt.aml to DSDT.aml. Put it in my root. I also put the pciefi 9 bott in the root as well. Installed appleintelcpuplatformlkext and still get can't find hpet and then ultimately kernel panic. If I pull the kext it's ok. But I thought that was the point of dtds and pci 9.

Sorry that was a typo, I meant DTDS.aml. I copied it to the root directory after patching. Reboot with appleintelcpupowermanagement.kext and still get kernel panic.
