Possible to change resolution in Software Mode?

Hi, I finally managed to install Kalyway Leopard 10.5.2 on my Laptop!^^

Great feeling but it's kinda useless... Internet doesn't work because neither my Intel Wireless WIFI Link 4965AGN WLAN (I was it's useless to even try this one) nor my Marvell Yukon 88E8040T PCI-E Fast ethernet controller LAN controller are working... I intend to lend a WLAN USB stick from a friend.

Anyway, my Graphics Card, ATI RADEON Mobility HD3650 runs fine in software mode, but it's stuck at 1024x768, anyway to force change it to 1280x800? It was even possible to force change it on a Leopard VMWare machine, but this time entering "Graphics Mode"="1280x800x32" in Darwin does nothing...

Also is it possible to get the Finder Bar translucent in Software mode? I see alot of transparency in the context menus so I doubt a bar could be alot harder^^

Last, I heard that RADEON Mobility HD3650 Device IDs were found in the newer MacBooks, does that mean that Hardware mode could be supported in the future?

Thanks for help in advance! ;)

do a little insane search!!!!

sudo -su

cd /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

nano com.apple.Boot.plist

add:

<key>Graphics Mode</key>

<string>1280x1024x32@72</string>

[u can try other resolution according to ur monitor and have atention the 72hz may not work for all modes]

rigth before:

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

and then restart.
