Laavuska Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Hello everyone! Im quite new with Hackintosh, I installed it like a week ago. But first some information about my system: E6300 GIGABYTE 965P-DS4(revision 1, so adapter is 88E8053) X1900XT Mac OS X Ideneb 10.5.5 running beside Windows Vista. When I first time installed, I had a problem that I could not connect to the internet. I read information from this forum and I realized that I had to modify "IONetworkingFamily.kext"-file. So I went to the terminal and I made modifications. I restarted my pc. I tried to connect to the internet but result was the same. I configured my network settings on OS and finally, I dont know how, it started to work. Later I had to re-install my os, for Kernel Panics. I did it today and now, I can not connect to the internet I did the same things as last time, but now it still doesnt work. Last time when I did it, it allowed me to add ethernet-interface to network configuration, but now it allows only that "built-serial-interface" etc... When I change to Windows Vista, internet works immediately without any problems. I can see the adapter light from the mainboard, but when Mac OS starts, that light turns off.
